John Joseph Feild (1 April 1978) known professionally as J. J. Feild, is an Anglo-American actor.
He has appeared in several film and television roles, including the role of Simon Doyle in the television series Poirot's version of Death on the Nile, and as Pual Osbourne in Marple "The Pale Horse". He has also appeared in Northanger Abbey as Henry Tilney and in the televised version of The Ruby in the Smoke as Frederick Garland. His film roles include playing the younger version of Michael Caine's character in Last Orders and playing the role of Heinz in Telstar. In 2008 he made his West End debut in Ring Round the Moon. He has a starring role in Napoleon Dynamite writer Jerusha Hess's upcoming directorial film debut, an adaptation of Shannon Hale's novel Austenland. In 2011, Feild co-starred in Captain America: The First Avenger as James Montgomery Falsworth. The same year, he starred in Third Star and appeared in the BBC adaptation of Sarah Waters' The Night Watch.
