A performer from childhood, Keith David (born June 4, 1956, in Harlem, N.Y.) sang in New York's All Borough Chorus as a boy, graduated from the High School of the Performing Arts and studied theater and voice at Juilliard.Although theater remains David's first love, he's also amassed a strong body of work in films. After making his big-screen debut in 1982's The Thing, David returned four years later for a critically acclaimed performance in Oliver Stone's Platoon. Following a 10-year absence, David returned to motion pictures with a string of roles in the mid-'90s, including a memorable turn as Cameron Diaz's stepfather in There's Something About Mary. The new millennium found David busier than ever with roles in Requiem for a Dream, Barbershop, Mr.
and Mrs. Smith and Crash, as well as in constant demand for voice work in documentaries and animated fare.
Keith David, TV/film star and voice of Admiral Anderson in the Mass Effect series, is WWE's narrator for many of their DVDs and now, the "Once in a Lifetime" Rock vs. Ceba 1hr documentary. Awesome!
