Reminded me why I loved him in so many movies, respect for women characters in his movies & now teary hearing how he fought race& singing vs acting fame prejudices to get Whitney Houston cast in "the Bodyguard", because he "knew", even when she doubted herself, that she was so right for the part. Used to listen to that soundtrack in my Navy BEQ room when I was stationed overseas, poignant beauty.

Love him and after his beautiful heartfelt statements he made yesterday at Whitney's funeral, he went up several notches in my book.
