Lyman Frank Baum (15 May 1856 - 6 May 1919) was an American author of children's books, best known for writing The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. He wrote thirteen novel sequels, nine other fantasy novels, and a plethora of other works (55 novels in total (plus four "lost" novels), 82 short stories, over 200 poems, an unknown number of scripts, and many miscellaneous writings), and made numerous attempts to bring his works to the stage and screen.
I am thinking about L. Frank Baum and that wondrous book he wrote about a young lady from Kansas. Such an inspiring trip of the basic truths he took her on. There's No Place Like Home!

Watching a bio of him and Wizard of Oz and the subject matter was mostly stuff I've seen in all the docus. Entertaining as the recounts were...the narrator sounded like her mother, father, sister, brother, husband, and 3 children were just murdered. It made the whole thing SO effing boring.
