YES, I hope it comes true! However, the sequel is NOT confirmed by Disney and Marvel yet, as some rumors around the web say. Marvel stated they have big plans for the character and that’s it.

I hope it comes true! A Black Widow solo movie would be all kinds of awesome… especially if Joss is involved somehow.

This is an interesting article about Joss’ character development for Black Widow, equality and real world women’s struggles. Although I do not totally agree with the article, it’s interesting to see the author’s interpretation.

I do agree, however, that Natasha is a great human character and also, a kickass action hero. The way I see it, she’s one of the greatest heroes in the movie (And my personal favorite), completely regardless of gender.
