I haven't seen a Takashi Miike movie in a while. I think it's time for a movie marathon.

Danny 'Sun' Youssef cool, its a revenge film like Oldboy and Lady Vengeance, very violent and original. Have so many other recommendations for you whenever you need, for instance Whispering Corridors, Infection, Cello, Phone, Voice, Red Shoes, etc, don't think I saw any of them on your list, one of the best complete lists I have ever seen on GG by the way lol you rock!

My 3rd favorite Japanese director behind Kurosawa and Juzo Itami . He also happens to be the only one still alive. I get a little pissed off when people compare him to Tarantino or say 'he's like or patterns movies like Tarantino' considering how long Miike has been making movies both in front and behind the cameras.

Allyson Kikujiri (I dunno either) seemed familiar to me. I'm crappy with movie names especailly in a language I don't speak. I need to do a preview of that one. I think Itami's Tampopo is the father of movies like Eat, Drink, Man, Woman and Chocolat. He had a really interesting way of seeing things. Check out Tampopo (it's about a woman's quest to make good noodles, lol) and/or The Funeral.

Brenda Johnson On the Gozu DVD special features Takashi is interviewed by Eli Roth and Gillermo Del Toro. It is always a joy to watch Eli Roth lick his proverbial boots.

Allyson, QueenofTypos. Umaybow @prunehilda Roth kind of rubs me the wrong way. I'd like to prick him with a pin and let some steam out.
