Canadian actor Will Arnett -- who has lent his distinctive voice to animated films and television commercials -- was born in Toronto in 1970.Arnett's first silver-screen appearance of note came in the 1998 indie drama Southie. Soon thereafter, he began to garner growing attention with guest-star gigs on such ratings blockbusters as "Sex and the City," "The Sopranos" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." In 2003, Arnett signed on as part of the ensemble cast of the acclaimed sitcom "Arrested Development" and turned his role as sardonic, jobless magician George Oscar Bluth II into a breakout part that netted him an Emmy nomination in 2006.Capitalizing on his small-screen success, Arnett starred with Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda in Monster-in-Law (2005) and played opposite the manic Robin Williams in the family comedy RV (2006).
