watching After the Thin Man

Last Thurs of the month TCM pulling out the Thin Man movies minus Song of the Thin Man for some reason.

FML there's a Thin Man marathon on tonight & I have to go to work in a little while.

I'll be happy when the New Year comes. I can't keep pulling these hours. Damn TCM and their marathons! Record? Qu'est que c'est?

Watching Mister Roberts. Just finished "The Girl Who Had Everything" (1953). Before that I watched "Life WIth Father" (1947).

Currently watching Ziegfield Follies (1946)

Re-watched My Man Godfrey (1936) for the umpteenth time earlier followed by Double Harness (g1933). Also shown The Last Mrs Cheyney (1937) and High Pressure (1932).

Just watched Rendezvous and I loved it.

Watched "Star of Midnight" co-starring Ginger Rogers. And that's that. Currently playing on TCM is Crossroads co-starring Basil Rathbone followed by Sherlock Holmes.

Watched "Rendez vous" co-starring Rosalind Russell.

"Lawyer Man" (1933) costarring Joan Blondell. First William Powell movie I didn't particularly like.

Watched "The Emperor's Candlesticks" (1936) co starring Luise Rainer.

Watched "The Hoodlum Saint," (1946) co-starring Esther Williams and Angela Lansbury.

Watched "The Ex-Mrs Bradford," (1936)

Watched "The Kennel Murder Case", (1933). The first of the Philo Vance movies I believe.

Can't think of Myrna Loy without thinking of William Powell. Great, great actor. His banter with Loy in the Thin Man movies is just priceless! They don't make 'em like they used to.
