While attempting to make a movie about his life, a confused director’s life becomes the movie; a brilliant autobiography from one of film’s greatest masters.

            • Hot!
I love this movie. It's about a director with creative block getting distracted by all the women in his life. If we were only all so lucky.

Mummy I know. I was watching 8 1/2, but talking about the film 9, which was made fairly recently. I believe it was a tribute film, a modern sequel to 8 1/2, but I can't see how a film like that would work. I think 8 1/2 is perfect the way it is.

Its ridiculous that Hollywood attempted to remake this film. This is a classic and no one needs to touch it!

This movie is filmed in Italian with sub-titles. Beautifully filmed but a very odd movie that looks at a filmmaker making a movie....
