Wonderful film noir! The actors were brilliant. Lots of twists and turns, left me feeling sorry for the cheating best friend. Loved this movie, truly breath-taking!

I'd been wanting to see Across the Hall for a while -- the premise is so unique and intriguing that I knew it'd be an interesting movie. The storyline does seem sort of familiar, though -- was there another, lesser-known film made before this? Or am I on crack? Anyway, it's beautifully shot and has talented actors telling its story, which takes place in a hotel (with beautiful vintage wallpaper and furniture, might I add), hence the title. Lots of paranoia, lots of intense, nerve-wracking moments, lots of secrets. You know that stuff is gold. Many things are slowly revealed, almost nonchalantly as the camera pans out, and it's a shock, yet somehow the viewer is not surprised. I don't know how they do that. How do they do that? Brilliant. There's nothing about this film that's stock Hollywood; everything seems just a little off, and it's eerie and uncomfortable and COOL. Give this one a shot.
