Watching Alaska on Amazon Prime. Can't sleep with my silly fever coming back again, so enjoying movie time. Loved this one when it came out!

Loved this movie as a kid :) Such a great adventure! The polar bear is so dang cute. I wonder why Thora Birch stopped acting? Anyone remember her from "Monkey Trouble"? haha!

ladyteatime But! I've been rewatching Sabrina (the tv show) and its exactly as I remember it and its just as enjoyable as it was when I was younger. So some things do stand up -
Crazy Cat Lady Awww good ole Ninja Turtles... yeah, I can imagine those being pretty terrible now-a-days. I wouldn't want to ruin the memory of the films I loved as a kid either. Some of my favorites growing up were the "3 Ninjas" series and I know watching those as an adult would be a horrrrrrible idea. lol.

Crazy Cat Lady I loved Sabrina the teenage witch, too! I bet it would still be enjoyable now. Kind of like this movie -Alaska- I knew it was well done, with enough adult content to be made enjoyable for all ages. Sometimes I wonder if I watched Full House or Boy Meets World or hell, Home Improvement, if I would find them too unbearable now to watch? lol

one of my favorites along with the great panda adventure, 8 below and brothers. but nothing can ever replace gorillas in the mist. 9/10
