Heard the song Rock Me Amadeus & so I wanted to watch this... Hadn't seen it in years, since I was a kid. The costumes were gorgeous! Music wonderful of course. Liked it a lot!

This is a beautifully, well written story of a man dealing with the torture of his own mediocrity in the presence of pure genius. Great actors taking great material to create a cinematic symphony of brilliance. Overall this has to be seen at some point as a film fan.

One of the 1001 films you ought to watch before you die. The incredible story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, told in flashback mode by Antonio Salieri - now confined to an insane asylum.

Story, actors, music , excellent. Shot in Prague. I was lucky enough to hear some opera in houses where film was shot. :-)

3 hrs of awesomeness to kill time with

Didn't realize the Netflix version was the director's cut. This pleases me.
