Annie Hall (1977) is looking good in 2012 in this restored Blu-ray version of classic neurotic Allen. But this is a standard of American comedy that goes beyond the usual Allen stereo-types. Diane Keaton set off a fashion craze with her Annie Hall portrayal (and won a best actress award along the way as well).
Like Hepburn and Tracy, Keaton and Allen are one of the great all-time couples, and Annie Hall was their fourth collaboration.
