Martin Sheen is a much better actor than Charlie Sheen. Charlie is a drug addled frat boy who is too damaged to grow up.

One of the best movies from the Nam era. Brando at his strangest....the part just fit him!

War movies are like football to me, I just couldn't follow what was happening. Then I watched this movie in a college course and it changed my perspective. It's a great film!

I've never watched this film, but I have no doubt it will be an excellent movie.
