Not exactly Oscar material, is it? I could watch the entire movie with just Russel and Helen Mirren interacting. Pretty girl Jennifer Garner is ok in this movie. Frankly, I did not expect more of her, as she's a uni-dimensional actress. I suspect the actress that plays Arthur's love interest is capable of much better in a more complex film, but her character is not the best vehicle to a better performance. Overall entertaining, but I don't expect to watch it again.

When I first heard about an Arthur remake I thought "Really? WHY?", but it's actually quite good :)

Really liked this film. Its surprisingly brilliant and very funny in some parts. Russell Brand is great in it. Love the movie vehicle references. Well worth a watch
