I'm watching this black & white silent movie on Blu-Ray. Because that's how I roll.

never thought i would be so captivated by a silent and black&white movie. the artist is just amazing.

First thing I did today was leave the house to buy this! Excited to see it again. :D

I got my DVD!!!! Now watching with my Mom and my brother.

Absolutely loved it! Almost started a slow clap at the end

SUPERB MOVIE!!! OLD HOLLYWOOD. NOSTALGIA. Almost cried three or four times. Need to bring grans!!

Premiere in here. Yes, I know.

Could not get into it!! Almost put me to sleep, played "Angry Birds" while watching. Maybe that was the problem. Did not get the Best Picture vibe...:(

Registro con felicidad que al fín pude verla y en sala de cine. Dejar pasar la oportunidad y terminar viéndola en casa me hubiera llevado a no etiquetarla como sobresaliente en un futuro y merecedora de ser recordada.
Con éste film, nos dieron la posibilidad de una experiencia vívida con los inicios del cine, con el ruido de la cinta al rodar, con el teatro, la oscuridad de éste que propicia sumergirse en la película. Yo pagué una boleta para todo eso. Mi más grande anhelo, querer que ésta experiencia se completara con una orquesta en vivo. Se me salía la lagrimita pensando en ello.

That was such a beautiful and heartbreaking film! The story dragged me to sympathise with George but also there were some clever stuff in patches. Eg where Peppy puts her arm through George's coat and the scene where he sees a reflection of himself in tuxedo at a shop window. Those things make the film priceless all the more!

Less is more. The puppy is incredible!

Looking forward to this on DVD.

Academy Award best pic. It kinda feels good to watch b&w movies when sick. 😰
