Wonderful movie. I've traveled by train and had moments with strangers. This is a wonderful expression of two people going off the beaten path and making a moment last till daybreak.

so beautiful in its simplicity. always leaves me inspired and comforted that such a thing can exist.

This is my idea of a romantic film. Julie Delpy is luminous and Ethan Hawke is so young and scruffy sexy. The conversation between these 2 is better foreplay than in a dozen bad romcoms. The whole single day shared together is magical while still being realistic. I adore this one, but love the sequel more. Might be my age, but the reunion 10 years later is so bittersweet and lovely at the same time. It's next on the list.
