Little Bruno is the best part of this movie. He's funny, he's heartbreaking... and he kinda looks like Jennifer Aniston if she were a little boy. Good and beautiful film... certainly too slow for modern audiences, (even a character in the film proclaims that movies "bore" him,) but emotional and powerful nonetheless. Vittorio Di Sica does some interesting early use of dramatic camera movement. And, to date, this might be the most honest and heartbreaking depiction of a genuine, loving, father-son relationship.

One of the most beautiful, moving films I've ever seen, and I've seen lots of movies. It's hard to believe that these "actors" weren't trained because they do such a fabulous job. Superb!
