The Big Easy's shady boudoirs have rarely appeared steamier on the silver screen than in this 1987 homage to classic film noirs of the 1930s and '40s. When New Orleans police detective Remy McSwain (Dennis Quaid) is assigned to investigate a series of mob-related slayings, he's forced into regular contact with an assistant district attorney (Ellen Barkin) determined to prove the cops are up to their necks in graft. Ned Beatty also stars.
The 80's VHS marathon continues with 'The Big Easy'. Favorite movies are my comfort food today. Works better than orange juice and chicken noodle soup.
