Struggling actor John Person (Jon Favreau) is hopelessly mired in debt. But things start to look up (or do they?) when he receives an offer from a strange man (Bud Cort) that could solve all his financial woes. All he has to do is deliver a blue suitcase to a cowboy (Sean Bean) in the small California desert town of Baker.
Once there, however, John discovers he's part of a situation that's way over his head.
Started watching this because I saw John was starring, but got sucked in to the story pretty quick. It's one of those movies that is so refreshingly original you wonder how it got the green light.
