Never seen this movie before...it's not too bad so far. It's so weird to hear John Goodman curse so much.

While it definitely had it's moments, The Dude kind of felt like an acid trip from start to finish, pain, nausea, and regret included.

Watching this one for the first time. Seems to have a cult following, so lets see how it goes.

OK, perhaps on a limb here: I enjoyed The Big Lebowski except it was ruined (IMO) by the narration :-( It set the scene at the start pointlessly (the film defines The Dude excellently without it) and made the ending incredibly pompous ... a cross between Basil Exposition (STFU, I get it, I'm not a dumbass!) and snobby Art Critic. That said, I'd happily buy a cut without the narration :-)
