Billy Lenz, the killer's voice over the phone, is some of the creepiest shyt ever. Very effective. Again it's what you don't see that is the most frightening. Take notes modern day horror directors!

Classic and influential slasher, highly underrated, Margot Kidder in this and Sisters (1973), awesome!

I've been watching the Halloween franchise just recently. It appears that "Black Christmas" was an inspiration to the original Halloween, so I figured it would be worth taking a look at.

Part the first of my annual "Bob Clark Christmas Double-Feature". Terrific 1975 holiday slasher has a bunch of college girls harassed and slain by a mysterious stranger. Olivia Hussey and Margot Kidder appear as two of the sexy victims. The always awesome John Saxon is the police detective assigned to the case. '2001's Keir Dullea is one of the many suspects. John Carpenter would later crib many of the beats for his own holiday slasher, 'Halloween', but don't be fooled - Bob Clark did it first, and he did it here in the Great White North (that's Canada, thank you very much). Highly recommended.

The original is still one of the creepiest films I have ever seen. The remake is just horrible. For the wrong reasons.
