Anything that makes you want to be a better person is extraordinary. That movie is exactly it. Plus, Sandra Bullock's performance was definitely worth the Oscar nomination.

This was my superbowl alternative this year. A bit of a higher budget 'Lifetime' movie if you ask me, but an amazing performance by Quinton Aaron (totally overlooked by the awards folks) and a real feel-goody, happy tears movie. Love Sandra Bullock, but really not worth an Oscar nod this time out.

I must say, that this is not just one of the best sports movies that I have ever seen, but one of the best movies. Everyone plays their part so well and the way the story is told is just fantastic! And if Sandra Bullock doesn't get awards for this performance then there is something wrong with people. And Tim McGraw was pretty good too, hell I didn't even really know it was him, which I think is a good thing. This movie is a must see for everyone, no matter if you are into football or not.

This is a really well made movie and the football scenes are still believable and Michael Oher is a good football player. Ironically, he no longer blocks the blind side for his pro quarterback, Joe Flacco.
