(1948) B&W. I've got to admit I am a Jimmy Stewart fan. However, this was a very captivating movie. A man has been sent to prison for 99 years for shooting a policeman and has been in prison for over a decade. Newspaperman (J.S.) has been sent to do a story on what we would call a Cold Case. He keeps finding more information and writes more stories and begins to believe the man may have been wrongfully convicted and the police start covering things up.

IMHO, #ClintEastwood's flik True Crime owes something to this.

Though I'm a big #JimmyStewart fan, this slipped under my radar. Interesting true crime mystery
