Seeing this on 35mm tonight at Cinema du Parc!

Took me a bit, but as soon as I remembered that Muska was voiced by Mark Hamill all I could hear was the Joker talking and laughing. It was soooo insane. Not much to say for the movie itself.

Interesting note about Anna Paquin's accent as Sheeta: The actress was born in Canada and grew up in New Zealand, hence why her accent can get mixed up in places. She has even admitted to switching between accents in real life. Considering the nature of Sheeta's character (she is, after all, a princess from a far off kingdom who grew up in a different country), the choice of accent actually makes sense. There are a couple of moments in her performance, emotion-wise that are a bit inconsistent, but otherwise she's solid as Sheeta. Everyone else in the dub is awesome though (James van der Beek's more mature sounding Pazu takes some getting used to, but honestly he grew on me after about 10 minutes in, and other than that I really enjoyed the enthusiasm he brought to the role).
