As I've said, total sucker for holiday romance movies made for TV. Plus, dogs doing "inner monolog" exposition. My Mom would've watched this, for sure. Maybe she's watching over my shoulder. โค๐โบ

Justine Greene Thanks, Tara. It makes the holiday period more difficult, but it also makes me remember to take note of the little things, that will make me smile...like my Mom loving sappy Christmas movies & anything with talking dogs. Taking those emotional notes, to pull back out, later, helps us keep them close. Even if the long distance charges on that phone call would be better suited to Halloween. (That's something else I learned from Mom, & still see my Dad do-find the "funny", even if it means smiling through tears, sometimes.) Hugz back

Tara Windwalker I know what you mean. I never thought that Mom and I would laugh as we planned her funeral or later on that I would find humor in her death (like the long distance phone charges). Yes, they stay close when we remember the things they used to do or say. Dad was saying that he never knew this and that about Mom and, at that moment, I remembered sitting in the living room with Mom while both of us were reading. I knew that Mom was really into her book and was near the end. It was a long book, too. All of a sudden, I saw the paperback book fly through the air and land on the couch. I looked over at Mom and she was all flustered that she had actually just done that. She said "I'll never know what X does (can't remember name). The book just abruptly ended." I thought that was so funny but I also knew how she felt. So, anyway, I told Dad that story and he shook his head and said, "I don't know how I lived with her so long and didn't know some of the things she did." I can laugh... -

Finally watching this movie & it's kinda of weird to have dogs talking. But it seems to be an ok movie, not done watching it yet: it's still in the beginning but It seems to be ok though?....
