Complicated plot: two 16 yr old Iranian girls (one rich, one poor) are sexually attracted to each other via experimentation; live the immoral life by partying, drinking, dancing, and soliciting at underground clubs. Always in conflict with morality police and religious fanaticism because they are perceived as "wild". The poor girl is forced into marriage (to rich girl's older brother) so she can't continue said lifestyle. The brother was a musician turned drug addict but has found new life through religion. He's forcing the "traditional lifestyle" on his family and are tearing them apart. He also has a deep sexual desire for poor girl that isn't reciprocated by her. The two girls just want "freedom".
