1080p HD BluRay. It's totally an awesome feeling watching a 1977 Steven Spielberg movie in HD.

Been a while since I've seen this masterpiece.

Haven't seen this movie in years.

First time watching. Wish I was alive when this came out to fully appreciate it.

Watching the restored, BluRay copy looks CRISP. Man, this movie still kicks ass. Spielberg at his best.

Haven't seen it for ages, but seems good enough for hot and lazy afternoon ;)

Another great movie from my childhood!!! When he was stopped at the railroad tracks and the space craft went by, that part really scared me!!!

Watching for the first time, at Cinerama's Sci-Fi Film Fest

The story fills me with alot of joy, especially "the first day of school" chapter.

Oh my... the split focus diopter shots in Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) are magical. Love them.
