Welcome to Hell for dolphins! Here's the truth about the most twisted little town on earth, Taiji, Japan. They have the cheek to make it look like a town that's besotted with dolphins & whales, besotted with killing or condemning them to a tortured existence in captivity! They know what they're doing is wrong & that's why they're trying 2 hide it, but they fail 2 see the obvious blood staining on the side of the rocks at each side of the secluded cove.
This movie is hard to watch, at first I found myself asking Ric if he was proud of what he'd started with the Flipper phenomenon, but very soon into the film it becomes very obvious that he is tortured by this daily & I don't think he sleeps very well at night either.
The effects of eating mercury-laden fish will become apparent also, & it's not as if the Japanese have no history of mercury poisoning already, but obviously haven't learned from it!

Shocking, just shocking

It's so sad to see that pool of blood from the dolphins, and how one dolphin tried to swim away with blood trailing behind...but even then died because loss of blood... Arrghhh! I can't stop crying!!!

Just watched the Cove. Such an amazing, inspiring, beautiful and haunting documentary.

If you have not seen The documentary of The Cove. I recommend it. It is not only a powerful but goregeous film/ movie.
