I haven't seen this in forever

Seeing this for the 1st time... Missed a lot of movies in the 90's...

Great action, great effects even by today's standards. Stallone and Viggo as the action figures.

I think this movie is highly underrated. I've always liked it. Good old disaster flick.

More vintage Stallone ... Didn't know that Rob Cohen (Fast and the Furious) directed this, based on his experience surviving a bombing.

just watched it again yesterday. i saw a plot hole or close to one, the air-fans that Kit went though, the people all could have gone though there before the tunnel flooded. I know that they said that they could only stop the fans once but in a life a death matter they could/should stop the air-fans some way. the easy way would be to break the air-fans so the can save the unknown amount of people trapped in the tunnel. If they are where the air come in then there would not have been any air problem. If they did that there would not have been any movie though.

I LOVE Daylight; it's such a poignant & intense film in a post 9/11 world. However, it couldn't have been an enjoyable shoot with that much water.
