A great lazy Saturday morning movie. I remember even in the 80's this movie was considered really violent, still a great film, but it looks quite tame these days.

Started watching last night but fell asleep but must say there is something very strange about Charles Bronson's face !!!

I've heard this is a pretty decent film to view so I am doing just that....viewing it.

A classic thriller with lots of gratuitous violence makes for a great 'Saturday laying on the couch' movie.

To be honest, in this film, I love how Paul Kersey unleashed his anger and disappointment towards the growing crime rate that contributed to his wife's death, at least he became a vigilante with a clear cause but IMO, the character went to far in the next installments of Death Wish, where Kersey was nothing but a maniac who roamed the street killing thugs.

By the title it appears to be a happy story.

I just love Paul Kersey devilish smirk at the end of the film..
