A somewhat disturbing and claustrophobic movie.

A little slow at first, but picks up as it goes on. Highly enjoyable.

LOVED THIS MOVIE. Thought it was going to be corny but it def had me scared.

pretty decent popcorn horror flick. the setting of the movie is what really adds to the fear factor, dealing with a bunch of cannibalistic humanoids is scary enough,but doing it a mile underground? now that;s freaky

whoops, if you havent seen this movie, get to watching, its awesome..... they made a second one, or are making a second one i cant remember..... i think i seen it if they made it lol........ i cant remember, but its freaking awesome. and scary........ creepy.

This movie scared the hell out of me. Not so much for the thing that was down there with them but the fact that they were in a cave. When that girl got stuck it freaked me out. I got claustrophobic in my living room.

The part where the one chick shines her flashlight down the passage and sees the creature moving behing the rock scares the crap out of me every time!

Neil Marshall's film is truly terrifying. I've seen it several times, and each time, I imagine I won't be a baby and scream at the EXACT SAME PARTS, but I'm apparently a sucker. Or perhaps this is just that good of a film. I'm leaning toward both.

Suspenseful, well done entanglement, good plot line and character development, and extremely unforgettable visual experience. Excellent horror/thriller/adventure movie!
