Catching up on my DVR. Never seen this and until recently had never watched a Bond film. Its been quite the education. I had always imagined him to be a very suave, sexy gentleman but with Thunderball and Goldfinger it was more sexist than sexy and he was hardly a gentleman LOL. Still it's always interesting to see how tolerance, culture and films have changed over the years.
After watching Mona Lisa Smile earlier, how we interpret the past with our modern ideas and how jarring the reality of that past looks through the lenses of a popular macho franchise.
All that being said, I did enjoy Goldfinger and so far Diamonds are Forever looks promising.

Phew - good thing Hamish's choices have improved - not sure I could take much more of the Grinch vs the Cat in the Hat....
