Soo funny! Funniest movie of '10 so far

Watched this today with three friends. We all hated it. One of the worst movies we've seen in years. We almost got up and left.

Seen the previews? Then you seen all the funny parts.

I'm not a big comedy guy, but I REALLY enjoyed this one. I love Paul Rudd, and Steve Carell was stellar.

Easy to sit through movie.

Liked the fact that a few well known faces, who I had not seen in a long time, made an appearance. Especially Bruce Greenwood. Don't know him? Go and watch Thirteen Days. Well made movie + nice acting.

Steve Carell was ok but by far not as good as he used to be in The Office.

Rudd & Carrell, the new Redford & Newman? Not! More like the new Abbott & Costello!

Yeesh! This movie is like ordering a large T-Bone and baked potato with all the fixings but having to wait for 80 minutes to get it. In the meantime, you're served moldy rolls and a warm bottle of cheap wine. Then you're moved to another table for no reason where you receive an appetizer of rancid shrimp and a limp salad with way too much salad dressing. Finally, you get your steak and potatoes, but it's only a 3 oz piece of steak and a potato the size of a golf ball. Basically, there's a quick set-up and about 75 minutes of fluff. The slapstick comedy and chemistry between Rudd and Carell is mostly pathetic. The audience I saw it with didn't laugh much at all. The dinner, which makes up about 15 minutes of the movie, has a lot of weird laughs, but it doesn't make up for the rest of this lazy, meandering movie. BOTTOM LINE: No compliments to the chef here

Funniest movie ever!

Given the cast, I had high expectations for this film walking into the theater. Unfortunately, they were set a little too high. This film could have been amazing, but many of the scenes fell a little flat and didn't deliver like they could have. It is an enjoyable and decent watch though and you won't leave it feeling cheated, but don't go expect a non-stop laugh ride like we saw with these two in Anchorman. I will say that Jermaine's artist character was hilarious and played perfectly. I would see a movie based around that character with Jermaine starring in a heartbeat.

Steve carrell is nothing but embarrassing and it's so horrific it's like nails on a chalk board, but you keep listening because it's so god damn funny.

I thought this movie was cruel, not funny, and sad. I was more upset when I left the theater than amused. Not a movie to waste money on

Not the usual kind of movie I like but I was pleasantly suprised!! Very funny :)

I thought this movie was hilarious and touching at the same time...what a terrific twist!

This movie was freaking hilarious. A great collection of well known comedians made this a fun movie. It did have a couple of dramatic moments that made it well balanced. Two thumbs up. I think I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD.
