During a Thanksgiving break from his Eastern boarding school, a snobby, upper-class kid (Ethan Randall) learns a lot about life when he's forced to take a cross-country road trip with his mom's (JoBeth Williams) working-class boyfriend (Ed O'Neill). A lighthearted comedy with an excellent O'Neill in the titular role (which combines some of the "attributes" of his character Al Bundy in TV's "Married with Children"). Peter Faiman directs.
I hadn't seen this movie in forever. Remember back in the early 90's when you could strand a kid out in the middle of nowhere to help him build character?
