I never seem to catch the entire of this movie. Again just caught the end, one day I'll have to rent the whole thing on itunes just to finally see the start.

Watching this on AMCHD. How crazy is it that this film released in 1999 was a foreshadowing of what every single crappy reality TV show is right now.

A film directed by Ron Howard. I liked this. Sort of a Truman Show concept w/ a dysfunctional family.

EDtv is one pretty awesome movie! Definitely 1 of a kind;) I haven't seen it in years and it came on AMC the other night, luckily I caught it at the beginning so I could record it then watch again WITHOUT commercials. It's funny, interesting and just an all around great movie. It also made realize that out of ALL the ridiculous "reality" shows, why hasn't there been one like this? Yes they've done some shows similar to it but its always been about celebrities, and their problems & issues are just a tad bit different than some "regular Joe". I mean no offense by that but MOST of the time its true. I don't watch so-called "reality tv" anymore except Jersey Shore and that's because the first season was pretty funny but as it went on it just became predictable. I can only take so much of yelling & screaming before I throw the tv out the door you know? Back to the point, I would definitely watch if they did a show like EDtv, just a single, regular blue collar person trying to make it and...
