an intriguing movie that falters now again but has a more than solid performance by Christian Bale and a unique world view.

i checked this out because of Christian Bale and i was pleasantly surprised. nice amount of action and a decent story as well. very enjoyable and i recommend it to others.

Maybe not a masterpiece but a new vision for gunfighjt choregraphy if you are willingly ready to suspend your disbelief. A good action movie anyway

A very "The Matrix"-esque movie IMO. The stories aren't very similar, but the same kind of innovation. It was extremely fun.

Christian Bale is amazing in this film, another cult classic got only limited release in US -but it is filled with action , drama, political and social commentary. It is a dystopian Sci-fi story-similar to 1984, Farenhiet 451, Brave New World, or Zamyatkin's 1928 novel "WE"

My conclusion: this movie is a fake, see non-existence because it may encourage others to adopt the same behavior.
