The creepy part is bodies were never found leaving the possibility that these men actually got away. Solid movie with great entertainment value.

What a wonderful 1979 thriller. This film kept me feeling tense through the end I guess that don't make them like this anymore.

I havent seen many of Clint Eastwood movies, but if there even close to as good as this one I will be happy. Amazing movie, and not dragged out like modern age prison movies.

Since I've been warden, a few people have tried to escape. Most of them have been recaptured; those that haven't have been killed or drowned in the bay. No one has ever escaped from Alcatraz. And no one ever will!

Classic... Just came back from the Actual tour of the Rock and it really completes the trip.
