Powerful performance by Andy Griffith that didn't even get nominated for an Oscar. That year, 1957, THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI was a big winner and all, but he should have got a nod at least.

Well Winona Ryder picked some great films, her last pick for the night is "A Face in the Crowd" coming on at 2a.m. Can't wait to see Andy Griffith in his first film role.
