Inner-city dweller Ghost Dog (Forest Whitaker) rises above the chaos surrounding him by adopting the strict lifestyle of the samurai warrior. He's sworn lifelong service to Louie (John Tourney), the small-time mobster who once saved his life -- even if that means committing murders for the man. But the limits of Ghost Dog's allegiance are tested in director Jim Jarmusch's crime drama, nominated for an Independent Spirit Award.

Just watched this, pretty interesting concept overall. It drags on quite often but Forest Whitaker's performance kept me watching. Not entirely sure what to think about the movie. Though it has lots of scenes that seem to be pointless, it was very unique in it's entire approach and entertained when things picked up.
Love the shots throughout that blend images from different angles and leave motion trails when action happens. I also love the way the gangsters are depicted as a little off their rockers.
Ghost Dog: You know, in ancient cultures, bears were considered equal with men
