Michael J. Pleva It is hard to compare an anime versus a real actor movie. It is also hard to compare movies produced 5 years apart from each other in one the biggest explosions of computer technology. Even more it is difficult to compare a Japanese anime to a movie produced in the U.S. of A. considering the differences in style. I think they are both great and due to their greatness do not deserve to be pitted against each other. -
Troy Sauer True. But Ghost played a big part in The Matrix's inception and contain many similar themes. I don't think it's unfair to judge which film handled those themes better or told a better overall story. I do think you accurately describe the things you can't compare / contrast and they are both important and epic movies from a technical level.
