Less than 7 minutes until you hear Morgan Freeman's voice. That's how every movie should start.

Not just a good one, but a GREAT one. Broderick and Ewles were never better, and Denzel and Director Edward Zwick Made one hell of an impression.

Denzil's 1st Oscar winning part,, and in my opinion still his best part, brilliant and a must see...!!!

Excellent movie - Denzel, Freeman, Broderick & Elwes all give magnificent performances in this Civil War epic.

That scene where the camera just stays up close on Denzel and the one tear falls from his face. You never forget that scene

22 years after the initial release of 'Glory'and I still can't come to grips with Ferris Bueller in charge of the 54th Massachusetts.

Didn't remember that Andre Braugher was in this. I always enjoy his work. And the guy who played Nelix in Star Trek Voyager. My favorite after TOS.

On to one of my son's favorite films. When they recently watched this in History class he was one of the only kids who had seen it.
