This only one of the best movies ever. It never ceases to bring tears to my eyes.

Really good movie of the Steinbeck book. Very trying time in American history.

That "Well, Who Do We Shoot?!" scene could be displaced in 2008.

Considering the restrictions of the Production Code in 1940, I'm surprised how well this film managed to capture to the spirit of the novel. It's not perfect, but impressive under the circumstances.

This a story about the harshness of life and the love that survives beneath the surface. People just want to work to live and feed their families.

My favorite Steinbeck! One of my greatest pleasures was seeing my daughter in a stage production of this. She played Granny and made her mama cry.

This film depicts what it was really like during the Depression as to what families went thru just to hope they have something to eat each day. Every performer in this movie deserved an Oscar.

Been thinking a lot about the "Great Recession" that we're in now, and made me call to mind this movie. At least thing aren't nearly as bad as they were during the Great Depression

They sure changed up the movie from the book as they do all...still good movie!
