I came across this film on netflix. This is a very unsettling character study of father an son. The story from the point of view of the kid an his dark journey in queens, new york. It's interesting because the director write this novel an he has 2 main actors playing him. This film is a great modern coming of age story with real honest characters, superb acting an good directing. This film reminds me of a modern version of mean streets an stand by me but more aggressive. Shia labeouf an Robert Downey Jr.are the reasons i wanted to watch this. Thumbs up

This movie is surprisingly impressive and boasts an amazing soundtrack, too. Dito Montiel really knows how to weave a great story.

One of the best movies I've seen. The cast is fantastic, Shia, Robert Downey Jr., Channing, Dianne, Rosario and Chazz are brilliants. And the music is just perfect.

Finishing the rest of this movie. Not bad kept me interested!
