Have never played the actually game. But I'm enough of a lore junkie to appreciate the various stories in this and the unifying,sometimes subtle,threads that bind them.

I've only played 3 and watched some Red vs Blue so this added some nice back story for me. All the shorts had the same indie feel as those of the Animatrix and Gotham Knight, for better or worse.
