Chow Yum Fat is an undercover cop trying to bring down a drug and gunrunning operation his partner is playing both sides but having already lost a partner he has doubts to work with another but he has to because soon they will go to war to bring the syndacate down in John Woo's masterpeice of bullits fire and bodies incredible and outright brilliantly done action scenes and a body count that pretty much puts any American action film to shame shows John Woo's incredible talent for awesome action mixing with crime tones.

This Tequila shoots back... Classic Woo.

A classic that never gets old, not to mention one of the greatest action movies ever filmed.

Watching my Hong Kong Laserdisc of this. It apparently has more accurate subtitles than the Criterion Laserdisc, albeit with a slightly inferior transfer.

Love the music in the teahouse shoot out, that's not ripped off of Commando is it?

This film features an extraordinarily long take. I think that's when I started appreciating the logistics of long takes. Children of Men has some exceptional long takes.

Hands down one of the greatest action movies ever made. Absolute classic. I cannot recommend it enough.

Nothing scares me more than chow yun fat with a gun in his hand..

If you loved this movie, buy "Stranglehold" for the PS3. Its a video game that continues the story of Tequila (who is voiced by Fat) and actually directed by John Woo, as well.

Can't sleep. Might as well turn on some Chow Yun-fat and Tony Leung. Woo knew what he was doing back then.
