Just about to watch this, so toked! 80's rockin soundtrack, I listened to the whole thing last night and just HAD to get the movie to check it out!

The first part reminds me of The Fifth Element.

Oh baby! Classic 1981 animated anthology flick based on stories from the titular print magazine (aka. 'Metal Hurlant' if you prefer the original French). Terrific voice cast (including many SCTV alumni), rocked out soundtrack that includes some great Blue Oyster Cult). The tales themselves are all wild, varied in style and genre....the 'Captain Stern' segment is a personal favourite.
