I know it's not as good as the original, but Hellboy admonishing a god that he woke up a baby is GREAT.

I think it's the movie that Del Toro probably would've made if he had been given a larger budget the first time around. I wasn't expecting the "green" message they were not-so-subtly trying to inject (Prince Nuada's gripes about the environment and how humans have destroyed this planet). But Nuada himself was pretty bad-ass. Everything a true villain is supposed to be: gallant and graceful, cunning and capable, regal and ruthless. I liked him alot. Like the most classic and effective villains, his heart was in the right place but his actions, his way of going about things, was perhaps a bit misguided. But he didn't see himself as evil, of course. He was fanatical and focused but he truly believed he was doing the right thing and was willing to do whatever it took to see his plans through to fruition.

Wish I owned this movie!
