Axel Howey New Thundercats is the best! Although they're probably only in the credits because they created the original cartoon back in '84. The animation styles between the Hobbit/Return of the King cartoons and original Thundercats is really similar. Side note: Rankin and Bass also did most of those "claymation" Christmas specials (Rudolph, etc), but the visual style is different because Paul Coker designed the puppets.

Kathleen Mary ohh yes, i'm well acquainted with the stop-motion movies! =) and i can't remember where exactly their names were, but i do remember getting the distinct impression that they were in active roles. the new animation is different but you can still see that Rankin-Bass flair... esp. with the reptilian people. they look so much like the goblins from the hobbit/rotk! lol! -
Axel Howey Oh yeah, Slithe has not changed much over the years. While they have changed the animation a lot, there's still some huge ups to the original series.
