I'm not sure if I knew House of Wax was a remake or not when I saw the 2005 version...Why must movies now all be remakes?!

kryloninja I'm tired of the "Saw" type movies..the first was enough then it gets all repetitive but I'm a fan of the "Scream" and "Halloween" movies and Friday the 13th....then my genre branches out into some Zombies like the Dawn of the Dead :)
I've seen the Shining a zillion times and the Ghost twins still freak me out lol something about being stuck in the snow with ghosts and a wacked out semi-possesed person is terror-filled, and yes Nightmare on Elm street caused me alot of sleepless nights....I totally agree with you on the shark thing lol.
I would love to see Christopher Lee in another movie a "Horror" type since he is still alive maybe in a Vampire movie :) I love BW Universal Monster movies, they showed Frankenstien on TCM the other day. -
Elizabeth Souder I thought the first one had a really interesting concept, I hadn't really heard of anything like it but EVERY sequel is the exact same! (I've only seen the first and...third? ones, but I've read the synopsis for all the others) Yeah yeah, they learn more and whatnot but it's all the same stuff like you said =/ Let's see: I haven't seen all of Scream, but the parts I have seen I like, I'm REALLY hoping they play it for the Syfy month of October! I've seen the 1978 Halloween (with Jamie Lee Curtis <3) and really liked it, I watched some of the 2007 one but...I didn't finish it for some reason. Probably something else was on or I wanted to get some sleep, lol. Friday the 13th is the same as Scream for me -- but I've seen Freddy vs. Jason if that counts! :D XD I've seen the remake for Dawn of the Dead and really enjoyed it. The ending was INSANELY predictably, but still good. I've watched it a few times. :)
OHMYGOD! The twins scared the HELL out of me!!! I grabbed a blanket and pull my... -
Leslie Butler Hollywood has no guts! New ideas for films are out there, I swear it's an accident when a "new" film gets made! Studio heads believe "the public" (in sheep mode) will always watch their garbage, and they'll make their money.
